The £500,000 Dream Team competition (the "Game") will run from 09:00:00 BST Thursday 19 July 2012 to the completion of the final Eligible Match, in The Sun newspaper, on The Sun Dream Team website at www.dreamteamfc.com (the "Website") and our official applications on Android and iPhone (the "Applications"). "Eligible Matches" are fixtures in which any Premier League club plays in the English Premier League, FA Cup competition, UEFA Champions League competition, Europa League competition and the Carling Cup competition for the 2012/2013 season only. Qualifying rounds for the Champions League and Europa League are not Eligible Matches but the play-off rounds in each of these two tournaments are Eligible Matches. International matches are not Eligible Matches.
An entrant must provide all the information requested at registration, together with a team name and a valid team selection in accordance with this Clause and Clauses 5 and 6. They then are entitled to one free entry to the Game ("FREE entry") while FREE entry is open including transfers in all transfer windows for the entrant’s free team (subject to the transfers being completed in accordance with Clause 11) together with five (5) tokens for five (5) entries in the Dream Team Predictor game (see Clause 15). There is no payment required for the one free entry to the Game using this route. If the Promoters believe at any time that, in our sole opinion, a single entrant has made more than one registration for a FREE team or has more than one account or FREE team then we may remove all of those entrants and FREE entries from the Game and make them ineligible for prizes. Any activity of any kind with regard to an entrant contriving or appearing to have more than one FREE entry to the Game which is deemed by the Promoters, in our sole opinion, not to be in the spirit of the Game or which gives any unfair advantage may result in all, or some, of that entrant’s FREE entries being declared void. Every entrant must manage their own account and free team. Where there is evidence that a free team has not been managed by the account holder then that account may be removed and the team may be declared void. Entrants with a FREE entry are entitled to win all prizes that are not expressly labeled as "Premium" prizes. For the avoidance of doubt, a free entrant is able to add Premium teams to their account and these teams will be eligible for prizes as described in Clause 3. FREE entry to the Game opens at 09:00:00 BST Thursday 19 July 2012 and closes at 14:44.59 BST on Saturday 18 August or 15 minutes prior to the start of the first Eligible match. All entries made before the free entry closing date will start scoring in the Game beginning with the first Eligible Match after this time.
An entrant must provide all the information requested at registration before they are entitled to purchase a Premium Package or Packages from their one account. An entrant may make Premium Game entries ("PREMIUM entries") by the purchase of £10 or £25 Premium Packages while Premium entry is open and in accordance with Clauses 4, 5 and 6. A £10 Premium Package comprises two (2) Premium entries of one (1) team each (to be selected at time of purchase) including transfers in all transfer windows for each team (subject to the transfers being completed in accordance with Clause 11) together with a total of ten (10) tokens for ten (10) entries in the new Dream Team Predictor game (see Clause 15). A £25 Premium Package comprises six (6) Premium entries of one (1) team each (to be selected at time of purchase) including transfers in all transfer windows for each team (subject to the transfers being completed in accordance with Clause 11)) together with a total of twenty-five (25) tokens for twenty-five (25) entries in the new Dream Team Predictor game (see Clause 15). The maximum number of Premium teams an entrant can purchase between the opening of entry to the Game on 19 July 2012 and 23:59:59 BST on 31 August 2012 is sixty (60) Premium teams. From 1 September further Premium teams can be purchased but no more than sixty (60) teams can be purchased in any one calendar month provided they are all validly entered and confirmed teams strictly according to Clauses 5 and 6. The Promoter may from time to time in its discretion offer entry price discounts or special offers. Entrants with a Premium entry are entitled to win all prizes offered in the game, subject to the limitations set out in the prizes clauses below. Premium entries can only be made via the Website and not via our Mobile applications. Access is available through Mobile applications.
Entry to the game will commence at 09:00:00 BST Thursday 19 July 2012 and to guarantee maximum points scoring potential, valid confirmed entries must be received by 14:44.59 BST on Saturday 18 August 2012 or 15 minutes prior to the start of the first Eligible match. No free entries will be permitted after this time but Premium entries will be permitted as follows:

Valid and confirmed entries received after this time but before 12:30:00 (GMT or BST whichever is applicable at the time) or 15 minutes before the first kick off if earlier each subsequent Saturday will start scoring from the first eligible match played on the Saturday of the week following their entry provided it is made as stated 15 minutes before the start of that first eligible match on that Saturday (“Scoring Start Saturday”).
For both FREE and PREMIUM entries the Game is only open to those aged 18 years or over at the time of registration and is only open to any eligible person residing in the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. Failure to observe these requirements will mean that any potential winning entry is invalid and all winnings will be forfeited. Employees of the Promoter, it's associated, affiliated and subsidiary companies, and their families, agents and any person connected with the Game are excluded from entry.
FREE Entries to the Game may be made either via the Website or Android and iPhone Dream Team applications.
PREMIUM Entries to the Game must be made via the Website
For both FREE and PREMIUM entries entrants must supply all the information requested at registration. Misrepresentation or fraudulent use of a credit/debit card will invalidate PREMIUM Website entries. Entrants entering by means of the Website or Application will also incur their own cost (if any) to their telecommunications provider for time spent accessing that Website or Application. No automated process of any kind may be used in any way to facilitate any element of Game entry, team changes (i.e. transfers), or administration. This entry must be made manually by the entrant themselves using the form available on the Websites and the Applications. Entries submitted by agents or third parties are not permitted and may be declared invalid and we reserve the right to remove all, or some, of those entrants and entries from the game.
Failure to observe these requirements will mean that any potential winning entry is invalid and all winnings may be forfeited. Any activity of any kind which is deemed by the Promoters, in our sole opinion, not to be in the spirit of the Game or which gives any unfair advantage could result in all, or some, entries being declared void and there shall be no right to refunds.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to close off Game entry, via some or all of the Website and Applications, either temporarily or permanently, without prior warning. Should the competition be oversubscribed we reserve the right to close off all entry to protect the quality of service provided.
Entrants must choose a name for each team entered up to 20 characters long. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any team name that in its sole judgment is inappropriate or offensive. In such a case, the Promoter reserves the right to rename the team in the name of the entrant or to apply such other name as the Promoter deems appropriate. Entrants must select eleven players for each team, the fictional Game value of which must not exceed £50 million. Only players listed in the Game player lists may be selected ("Eligible Players"). The Promoter's panel of football experts has chosen the players offered for selection, but their inclusion of player valuations are not necessarily indicative of ability or points scoring potential. The Promoter will not enter into any correspondence relating to the inclusion or non-inclusion of any player or his fictional valuation. Each team must have one of three playing formations:
a) a goalkeeper, four defenders, four midfielders and two strikers
b) a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three strikers
c) a goalkeeper, four defenders, five midfielders and one striker
Entrants will be asked to nominate one of their eleven players in each of their teams as a TEAM CAPTAIN. This Team Captain can be changed freely at any time during the season and will come into force immediately provided the change has been made and confirmed by 19:00 BST or GMT on a weekday and 12:00 on a weekend or in each case 15 minutes prior to the kick off of the first Eligible Match on that day if earlier. If later than these times then the change will come into effect with the first Eligible Match after the end of that day. In each transfer window entrants can still select and change their Captain for games during the transfer window, but if they transfer their Captain out then a new Captain will need to be chosen to be Captain once the transfer window closes. (For prizes associated with the Team Captain see Clauses 15 and 16).
During the transfer windows entrants may make changes to the playing formations provided they do so conforming to the Terms outlined in Clause 11.
The Promoter may from time to time in its discretion add further players to each club for selection at any suitable time and prior to the opening of and during the transfer windows.
PREMIUM package entrants must have a different team name for each of their teams and the Promoter reserves the right to amend them if necessary.
Once registered, both Free and Premium entrants may be given the option at no additional charge via the Game Website or Applications to create or join up to five different Mini Leagues for each of their teams at any time the Game entry is open, with the agreement of the Mini League chairs (this will be communicated directly to each Mini League Chairman) and will start scoring in that league on the next Scoring Start Saturday (as described in Clause 4) following the joining of that Mini League. A Mini League may have unlimited teams. The creation of or entry to a Mini League is dependent upon successful entry into the main Game. A creator of a Mini League may invite other entrants to join that particular Mini League, subject to all Mini League entrants satisfying the Mini League registration and entry requirements. An entrant who has been invited to join a Mini League may only join if they have been invited to do so by the Mini League creator and if they are in possession of a valid Mini League unique PIN (as assigned to the Creator by the Website) name and password. All Mini League entrants will be bound by the Game Terms and Conditions. Only Members of a particular Mini League may view the full details of their particular Mini League. Overall performance statistics for each Mini League will be accessible by any Mini League entrant. Entrants may be a Member of up to five different Mini Leagues with each of their teams. Once an entrant has entered a team into a Mini League, that team may not be transferred to any other Mini League.
Additionally each valid team made by an entrant will be added to one of the twenty Supporters’ Leaderboards of the Premier League for the club they indicated during the registration process.
Once entered into a Mini League entrants will be able to view and post messages and send emails on their own Mini League's Bulletin Board. The Bulletin Board will only be viewable to entrants who are participating in that Mini League (the "Members"). Members agree that any posts on the boards are private conversations between Members and are not to be published outside of the Mini League environment. Members agree that they, and not the Promoter, are solely responsible for all messages and any material or information that they transmit to other Members and for their interactions with other Members in connection with the Bulletin Boards and that they must use the Bulletin Boards solely in the context of the Game and for lawful purposes only. Members must not use the Bulletin Boards for any of the following: (i) for fraudulent purposes or in connection with a criminal offence or other unlawful activity; (ii) to send, use or reuse any material which is offensive, abusive, indecent, defamatory, racist, obscene or menacing, or in breach of copyright, trademark, confidence, privacy or any other rights; or (iii) to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety. Members accept that the Promoter does not endorse and has no control over the content posted by Members. The Promoter makes no warranties, express or implied, as to the content or to the accuracy and reliability of the content or any material or information that Members transmit. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for monitoring the Bulletin Boards for inappropriate content or conduct. However, if at any time the Promoter chooses, in its sole discretion, to monitor the Bulletin Boards, except as required by law or regulation, the Promoter nonetheless assumes no responsibility for the content, no obligation to modify or remove any inappropriate content, and no responsibility for the conduct of the Member submitting any such content. The Promoter reserves the right to remove the Bulletin Board facility from any Mini League at anytime if in its own discretion, any posts contravene the spirit of the Game or the posts are deemed to be in breach of the conditions of use set out above. If a Member believes that any message or activity on their Bulletin Board contravenes these rules or in any other way concerns them then they can report it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
There will be no cash prizes awarded to mini leagues at all in the season.

Sun Communities are growing all the time and currently include Dream Team, Sun Bingo, £9.50 Holidays, £9.50 Football and Sun Perks. This list is not inclusive and may change from time to time.
Entries believed to be validly submitted through the Websites or Applications will result in an acceptance message on the Website or Application (which entrants are advised to print out and keep) containing the entrant's team name(s) and team preferences, user account and any payment details. These details will be confirmed by email to the entrants email address supplied during registration (provided the entrant has correctly submitted their email address). It is the entrant's responsibility to remember and maintain the security of their password. Passwords should not be disclosed to any other person. The Game database record of each entry will be deemed to be the official entry for each team.
All transfers in the Game will be free of charge for both Free and Premium entrants for each of their teams. Prior to 23:59:59 BST on Friday 17 August 2012 entrants will be able to make unlimited 'pre-scoring' transfers. During the season there will be four free transfer windows ("Transfer Windows").
The first Transfer Window will open at 09:00.00 BST Tuesday 4 September and close at 11:59.59 BST on Saturday 15 September 2012 or 15 minutes prior to the first kick-off if earlier with transfers scoring starting with Eligible Matches after this time.
The second Transfer Window will open at 09:00.00 BST Tuesday 9 October 2012 and close at 11.59.59 BST on Saturday 20 October 2012 or 15 minutes prior to the first kick-off if earlier with transfers scoring starting with Eligible Matches after this time.
The third Transfer Window will open at 09:00.00 GMT Monday 28 January 2013 and close at 11:59.59 GMT on Saturday 02 February 2013 or 15 minutes prior to the first kick-off if earlier with transfers scoring starting with Eligible Matches after this time.
The fourth and last Transfer Window will open at 09:00.00 GMT Tuesday 19 March 2013 and close at 11:59.59 GMT on Saturday 30 March 2013 or 15 minutes prior to the first kick-off if earlier with transfers scoring starting with Eligible Matches after this time.
The Promoters reserve the right to change the dates and/or times in each of these Transfer Windows for any reason.
In each Transfer Window entrants will be entitled to transfer up to three Eligible Players from the Game player lists into each of their team(s) and must transfer out the corresponding number of Eligible Players from each of their teams (i.e. the total number of Eligible Players in the team must remain the same). The total fictional value of each team must not exceed £50 million either before or after the transfers. The Promoter reserves the right to add new Eligible Players to the Game at any time each month and prior to the opening or during the Transfer Windows. Transfers may be made at any time during a Transfer Window, but incoming transferred Eligible Players will only be eligible to score points after that Transfer Window has closed. Outgoing transferred Eligible Players will continue to score points for a Game entrant's team until such time as a Transfer Window has closed. After that time, any points subsequently scored by the outgoing transferred Eligible Player will not count towards the Game entrant's overall score. Entrants can make transfers by completing the transfer procedure on the Website or on the Applications. Entrants who make more than three transfers in any one team in any one Transfer Window will invalidate that team entry i.e. their transfers and their team. Unused transfers are not transferable from one team to another team or one window to another window. In the event that a transfer is not successfully completed to the satisfaction of the Promoter then any discrepancies and/or inconsistencies will be resolved at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Entrants making transfers via the Websites or Applications will incur their own cost (if any) of time spent accessing that Website or Application otherwise there is no cost of making any transfer. The Promoter reserves the right to change the Transfer Window dates at any time.
If a user transfers out the Team Captain then a new Team Captain will need to be chosen to come into effect once the Transfer Window has closed.
Throughout the duration and at the end of the Game, the Promoter's panel of football experts will provide updated records for each player and these will where possible be published daily on the Websites and Applications, and also weekly or more frequently in The Sun.
Matches played over a weekend will normally be updated by 23:59 BST or GMT on each Sunday with matches played on weekdays normally updated by 23:59 BST or GMT that same night. Points updates will always be carried out as promptly as possible, however it may not always be possible to finish points updates by the times stated.
Players that appear in the official Game player list will only score points for Eligible Matches. The First, Second and Third Qualifying rounds for the UEFA Champions League, and Europa League do not count but the two legs of the Qualifying Play-off rounds in both these tournaments which take place after the start of the Game are Eligible Matches. International matches do not count.
Three points will be awarded to a player given a mark of seven or more in Sunsport's individual ratings carried with Sunsport match reports which may be found in The Sun newspaper.
Five bonus points will be awarded to each Eligible Player that is awarded Sunsport's "Star Man" prize. The Star Man will be the Eligible Player with the highest player rating. Where there are two or more players in an Eligible Match with equal highest rankings then The Sun match reporter will make the final choice as Star Man.
Five points per goal will be awarded to each Eligible Player for each goal that they score. If an Eligible Player scores three or more goals in any one match, he will be awarded an additional five bonus points.
A goal keeper or a defender who does not concede any goals will score five points. If a goalkeeper or a defender concedes one goal they will not lose any points. For each additional goal that is conceded by a goal keeper or a defender, that Eligible Player will lose one point for each such goal.
A midfielder whose team does not concede any goals scores two points. Midfielders are not penalised if their team concedes any goals. A goal keeper who saves a penalty scores three points.
A "save" is defined as a goal not being scored directly from the penalty spot (e.g. if the ball rebounds off a post that is still considered a "save").
Penalty save points will be awarded even if a goal is subsequently scored (e.g. from open play after the ball has bounced off the post).
Players not picked for any reason score zero points for each match they miss. Any Eligible Player who comes on as a substitute will be awarded points for a clean sheet or will be deducted points for conceding goals as if they had played for the full match. Eligible Players substituted off also score or lose points in normal fashion regardless of how long they were on the pitch.
Any Eligible Player who starts a match or comes on as a substitute and is booked at anytime loses one point. Any Eligible Player who starts a match or comes on as a substitute and is sent off for any reason at any time loses three points. Any Eligible Player that is cautioned in a match for any reason but has not taken any active playing part in the match will not be deducted any points (e.g. If an unused substitute is booked while on the bench). Any Eligible Player that loses points for a booking or sending off will not have those points reinstated if the offence is rescinded on appeal or by any other means.
Any Eligible Player transferred from one Premier League club to another Premier League club will continue to score points for the purposes of the Game and will be considered to be an Eligible Player at the new Premier League club. Any Eligible Player transferred from one Premier League club to a non-Premier League club will have his points total frozen for that season until such time if any that he rejoins a Premier League club.
An Eligible Player who has been awarded points as described in this Clause 14, whether positive or negative, will retain those points unless they are changed within 24 hours of the end of the relevant game, unless they are errors made by the Promoter. Any changes to attributed points to a player due to a change of scorer, or caution after this time will not be taken into consideration. For the avoidance of doubt any player that is subsequently awarded a goal will not receive the points retrospectively, nor will the original scorer lose points. Due to timing reasons, the decisions of the Premier League's "disputed goals panel" will not be taken into account.
These "How to Score" rules remain the same for matches involving extra time. Accordingly, in order for a midfielder, goal keeper or a defender to score clean sheet points in a match involving extra time, their team must not have conceded any goals by the end of that extra time. Penalty shoot-outs do not count. Replays are counted as separate matches which for the avoidance of doubt have their own points scoring potential.
A new Dream Team Predictor game (“Predictor”) will be introduced within Dream Team 2012-13 on Tuesday 23 October 2012 (see how to play below for details). Entry to the game will only be through Predictor tokens that can be acquired in a number of ways:
All £1 value Predictor tokens purchased or issued to entrants will be administered through a Dream Team Predictor wallet in the user’s area which until Predictor launch will show the total number of £1 value Predictor tokens held by the user after which time a more detailed transaction record will be available.
No Predictor tokens will be awarded in week 20 of the Predictor Game as part of any prize (please check the Predictor Game on the Website to confirm week number). No cash refunds will be available for Predictor tokens under any circumstances. Any predictor tokens not used by the end of the Predictor Game will be invalid and no refunds will be given.
There will be a weekly Predictor Game over twenty nominated weekends during the duration of the Game. Entry to each week’s Predictor Game will commence at 09:30 (GMT or BST whichever is applicable at the time) on the Tuesday and valid confirmed entries must be received by 12:29.59 (GMT or BST whichever is applicable at the time) on the Saturday of each Predictor Game week, or at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the first Eligible Match for that Predictor Game week. Entries received after this time for the relevant Predictor Game week will be invalid and will not count.
The Predictor Game will commence at 09:30 BST on Tuesday 23 October 2012 for Eligible fixtures being played on Saturday/Sunday 28/29 October 2012 and occur on 19 subsequent but not necessarily sequential weekends. The availability of Predictor in any week will be notified in advance on the Website from time to time at the sole discretion of the Promoter. The week number (e.g. week 15) of the relevant Predictor Game will be specified on the Website.
In order to enter a Predictor Game an account holder will need to have at least one valid Predictor token (see above for how to purchase/obtain tokens). Each Predictor token allows one entry into the Predictor Game for the relevant week’s Predictor Game. Entrant’s may make up to 80 entries in any Predictor Game week which together with the associated 16 free entries granted means a total limit of 96 entries. The entry must be received as set out above. The number of Predictor Tokens held by an entrant will be shown in a Token wallet accessible through the entrant’s home page.
For every five entries made at the same time through the use of Predictor Tokens in any one Predictor Game week the entrant will receive one free entry in that particular game week only.
To play, an entrant will need to predict the actual full-time score of each club for four games for that particular week’s Predictor Game. The 4 matches are selected each week at the sole discretion of the Promoter and will be set out on the Predictor entry part of the website. Entry is open to both Free and Premium entrants to the main Dream Team Game only.
Prizes for the Predictor Game will be awarded in accordance with Clause 16 of these terms and conditions.
The £500,000 total cash Prize Pool includes Dream Team Predictor. The winning entries, excluding Dream Team Predictor which has a different format described below, will be those entries which, at the end of each prize period set out below, have accumulated the most points calculated using the "How to Score" rules, as confirmed by the Promoter, according to the following:
For the Game Season competition prizes for both FREE and PREMIUM entrants there is a total prize pool of £85,000 ("Season Prize Pool") distributed between 100 prizes which can be won by both FREE and PREMIUM entries with a maximum of ONE prize per entrant. If a PREMIUM entrant has more than one team qualifying for the prize positions then only their highest placed team will be eligible for a prize from this particular Season Prize Pool.
If two or more teams share a place then the total Season Prize Pool of the tied teams will be shared equally between the tied entrants. For instance, if there are two teams tied for third place, the prize allocated to each entrant will be made up of the prize for third and fourth added together, then divided by two. In the case where the number of tied entrants for a £100 prize goes beyond the 100th position then the prizes will be awarded according to the time and date of entry of the eligible team in order of the earliest entry down to the hundredth position. Tied entrants past the hundredth position according to this ranking process will not receive a prize. Where an entrant is not eligible for a prize from a Season Prize Pool due to already exceeding their allowable number of prizes (throughout the Game Season) then the next entrant’s team in the ranking will take that ranking position.
There is a separate season-long competition ONLY for PREMIUM teams, which is independent of the Season Prize Pool prizes, and has a total £206,000 Prize Pool ("Premium Season Prize Pool") distributed across 50 prizes.
Only teams purchased as part of a PREMIUM package will be eligible for prizes in this competition with a prize distribution as shown below. One entrant may win a maximum of FIVE prizes from this competition with the entrant’s highest placed teams being those counted.
If two or more teams share a place then the total Premium Season Prize Pool of the tied teams will be shared equally between the tied entrants. For instance, if there are two teams tied for third place, the prize allocated to each entrant will be made up of the prize for third and fourth added together, then divided by two. In the case where the number of tied entrants for a £100 prize goes beyond the 50th position then the prizes will be awarded according to the time and date of entry of the eligible team in order of the earliest entry down to the fiftieth position. Tied entrants past the fiftieth position according to this ranking process will not receive a prize. Where an entrant is not eligible for a prize from a Premium Season Prize Pool due to already exceeding their allowable number of prizes then the next entrant’s team in the ranking will take that ranking position.
Monthly prizes (with points being allocated over the calendar month from the first day in the month to the last inclusive) will be awarded for each of six months during the Game Season (September, October, November, December 2011, January and February 2012).
The prize pool consists of a total of £6,000 value of Predictor tokens with £1,000 value of tokens being allocated for each of the six months ("Monthly Prize Pool") with the top 100 entrants each receiving ten £1 Predictor tokens. All entrants, both FREE and PREMIUM, are eligible to appear on this table but may only win a single prize in any one month. In the case where the number of tied entrants for a £10 token value prize goes beyond the 100th position then the prizes will be awarded according to the time and date of entry of the eligible team in order of the earliest entry down to the hundredth position. Tied entrants past the hundredth position according to this ranking process will not receive a prize.
|1st-100th||£10 value Predictor Tokens each|
There is a separate monthly competition ONLY for PREMIUM teams, which is independent of the Monthly Prize Pool, and has a total £60,000 Prize Pool together with £6,000 value of Predictor tokens. Monthly prizes (with points being allocated over the calendar month from the first day in the month to the last) will be awarded for each of six months during the Game Season (September, October, November, December 2011, January and February 2012). For each of the six months ("Premium Monthly Prize Pool") there will be 14 cash prizes totaling £10,000 together with the next top 100 entrants each receiving ten £1 Predictor tokens totaling £1,000 value of Predictor tokens.
Only teams purchased as part of a PREMIUM package will be eligible for prizes in this competition with a prize distribution as shown below. There is no restriction to how many Premium Monthly prizes a PREMIUM entrant can win.
|15th-1l4th||£10 value Predictor Tokens each|
If two or more teams share a place for a cash prize then the total Premium Monthly Prize Pool of the tied teams will be shared equally between the tied entrants. For instance, if there are two teams tied for third place, the prize allocated to each entrant will be made up of the prize for third and fourth added together, then divided by two. In the case where the number of tied entrants for a £10 value Predictor prize goes beyond the 114th position then the prizes will be awarded according to the time and date of entry of the eligible team in order of the earliest entry down to the 114th position. Tied entrants past the 114th position according to this ranking process will not receive a prize.
There are in total £150,000 worth of Dream Team Predictor cash prizes ("DT Predictor Prize Pool") with £7,500 each Dream Team Predictor week if there is an outright winner who correctly predicts all four results and scores of the four Eligible Matches stipulated by the Promoter for the relevant Predictor Game week, and £20 value Predictor Token prizes awarded each such week for up to a maximum of 100 entrants (excluding any outright winners) who correctly predict any three of the four relevant results and scores for that week (if there are more than 100 runners up, then the entrants with the earliest 100 entries correctly predicting any three of the four results will each receive a £20 Predictor Token prize). If there is more than one outright winner predicting correctly the relevant four results and scores then the £7,500, or total prize if there is a rollover situation, will be shared equally between those tied entrants where there are ten or less such tied entrants. If there are more than ten tied entrants then the entrants with the earliest ten final entry times will each receive £750 and the remaining correct entrants will each receive £20 value Predictor Token prizes. If there are no outright winners in any one Predictor week then the £7,500 cash prize allocation will roll over to the subsequent week and so on. If there is no outright winner or tied winners in the final game week 20 then there will be an additional game week added (Week 21). If no one correctly predicts all four full time scores in game week 21 the entrant who predicts any three out of the four matches correctly will be eligible for the cash prize decided by the earliest final time of that particular entry as above. No Predictor Tokens will be offered as prizes in the final game week. Any Predictor Tokens in your wallet after the final game week will be forfeited and can't be carried over into the following season.
If any one or more of the selected fixtures for the Predictor Game in any week is abandoned including on or after the 70th official recorded minute then the score at that time will be deemed to be the actual final score with respect to the Predictor Game. If any one or more of the selected fixtures for the Predictor Game in any week is abandoned at or before the 70th official recorded minute or is postponed then the Predictor Game for that week will be declared void, all placed Predictor Tokens will be returned to the users’ wallets and the cash prize prevailing at that time will be carried over to the following week. In week 20 of the Predictor game and any additional week or weeks of the season no £20 value Predictor Token prizes will be returned and/or awarded.
Entrants will be asked to nominate one of their eleven players in each of their teams according to Clause 6 at all times during the Game. Provided that any of a user’s team has a validly entered Team Captain and that for an Eligible game that Team Captain is awarded a The Sun Star Player as described in Clause 14 for that match then the User will be awarded one £1 Predictor Token as a prize.
Following the examination of the details of all potential winners and the awarding of cash prizes, we will aim to announce and formally notify all winners via the email address provided on their entry form within 21 calendar days of the prize result.
Prior to the disbursement of any winnings, we reserve the right to require you to provide information or documentation, deemed, in the opinion of The Promoter, fit to verify your identity, country of residence and eligibility to win. You may be required to sign and agree to an affidavit of eligibility and public release. Failure to co-operate with such enquiries may result in any winnings being forfeited.
Winners of Predictor Token prizes will not be individually notified other than through their Dream Team user home page.
All cash prizes will be paid via cheque. In order for a prize to be paid, the winner will be required to supply us with or confirm their valid home address via the secure link on the original prize confirmation email within 30 calendar days of send; otherwise the prize may be forfeited and go into a separate prize pot to be used at the promoter’s discretion. We will aim to send the cheque within 21 days of the winner confirming the correct address.
It is the sole responsibility of the account holder to ensure that all personal contact information is valid and up to date at all times.
The winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs, general location and team name and selections for publicity and news purposes in The Sun, it’s websites and the Dream Team Website, Applications, Facebook fan page, Twitter account and any other media as determined by Dream Team.
All winners' names will be available upon request by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Competitions Department of News Promotions Ltd at the address below marked 'Dream Team 2012-2013 Winners', and each entrant consents to the use of their personal data for these purposes. The prizes are non-transferable and there are no alternative prizes.
